DebugTopLink

Is TopLink failing on you? Throwing some random NullPointerExpection that has you tearing the last remaining hair off your skull? Now's the time for descending into the bowels of the beast. I'm talking about preparing TopLink for the debugger, and set it up to allow stepping into the holy TopLinkSourceCode.

To do this, 4 possibilities:

DebugUnitOfWork

for UOW troubles only, the TopLink API provides helper methods.

RecompileTopLinkFromSource

a safe option that (probably) doesn't violate your license agreement, but only gets you as far as the official distribution allows you to go.

DecompileTopLink

a hardcore way that involves decompiling parts of TopLink and is most certainely frowned upon by OracleCorp. You may want to consult an attorney before going down that road.

SessionConsole

a Swing application used to inspect the TopLink cache of live applications. It also exists as a Webapp, see TopLinkWebClient.
